Jules Bruff, Actress, USA – Jury President
Jules made her writing and producing feature film debut with PART TIME FABULOUS (PTF). She won best actress awards for her portrayal in PTF at the Monaco Charity Film Festival and the Los Angeles Feel Good Film Festival in 2011. PTF has been nominated for a 2012 Voice Award; 2011 winners were The Fighter, The King’s Speech and The Beaver. She produced the short films STATION ZERO and CANDYBAR in 2011 as well. Jules began generating her own projects when she co-created, produced and starred in the comedic web series DESTINED TO FAIL. Upon moving to Los Angeles Jules began working in film and television projects, over 40 National TV commercials, and several plays. Her first big break came when she landed the pivotal role of Catherine Allen in David Fincher’s highly acclaimed 2007 film ZODIAC.
Louis Alexander – Costa Rica
Louis has been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Having worked as an Actor, Producer and Director in Films, TV shows and over 200 commercials, Louis is presently in pre-production for two motion pictures, one of them a musical. He also started a TV Network (SEA TV) which is in the funding process at the present time. His TV commercial company (Americ-Ad) produces a lot of commercials for Time Warner. Louis is married and commutes between Los Angeles, Costa Rica and New York.

Margaret Emery, Screenwriter, USA
Margaret Emery has worked as a screenwriter, actress, producer and director, in films, TV shows and commercials in the United States and Europe. She currently writes comedy for television and feature films and recently produced, co-wrote, co-directed, and starred in the comedic short film, Love Rush Lottery. As an actress, Margaret has worked with acclaimed directors Michael Apted and Sally Field, and appeared on hit television shows such as ER, Dharma and Greg, Strong Medicine, as well as the improv comedy show, the Jamie Kennedy Experiment. Margaret is conversant in German, Spanish and French, and has written and produced travel shows all over the world, for radio and television.

Christophe Nassif, Filmmaker, France
Christophe is an award-winning filmmaker, born in the little Principality of Monaco, on the French Riviera. Half Italian, half Lebanese, yet a French citizen, he has grown in a multi-cultural mix on the Mediterranean. He has studied and lived in three countries, is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and has an addiction for dark chocolate. Arnaud Collery, a graduate of Chinese, Japanese, American and French universities and has been doing comedy all over the world as a writer, stand up comedian or filmmaker in many languages.
‘Little Klaus Big World” was at the Nigata Film Festival in Japan in 2011. He is also the founder of “Comedie sans frontieres” a NGO aimed at bringing humor in the classrooms in third world countries. He was a quarter finalist in the NBC show “Last comic standing”. Hakeem Kae-Kazim – Jury President
Hakeem is Nigerian born and has lived all over the world including South Africa, London and America. He was classically trained at the Bristol Old Vic and has shared the stage with critically acclaimed actors for his performances as Edmund in ‘King Lear’ with Brian Cox, and Tyrell in ‘Richard III’ with Sir Ian McKellan. Jeff Frentzen – Jury President is a filmmaker, author, journalist, and musician whose first feature film as director, House on the Hill, is having its World Premiere at this film festival. Starting in 2005, Frentzen produced a series of low budget independent movies for Lions Gate Entertainment, and more recently a documentary on self-help for people with disabilities. He has been director-in-residence at Film Actors Studio in West Hollywood (2006-2008), has published fiction and nonfiction (“The Outer Limits Official Companion”) and has worked in trade publishing, as well.

Richard Chagoury
A native Angelino, Richard Chagoury spent his first eight years living in Africa. Soon after moving back to America, he discovered acting. Richard immediately sought out roles that challenged his own humanity. In his very first film, “Cuba, No America,” he portrayed an orphan from Afghanistan, improperly held in Guantanamo Bay. The film received the Audience Award at the American Film Institute. Soon afterwards, he appeared in the film “Schooled” which received several nominations for Best Ensemble Cast at various Film Festivals. His next project was “AmericanEast” in which he played a young boy trying to balance the traditional ways of his family with life in America. Richard felt an immediate compassion for his character and hopes that this film will start a dialogue that will ease religious stereotypes. “AmericanEast” received accolades at both the Hampton Film Festival and the Dubai Film Festival. His theatrical credits include “The Imperfect Seed” in which he played a young man with Bipolar Disorder. Richard is currently a member on the Screen Actor’s Guild Panel for Diversity.

He has gone thru many struggles to be in a Film School and nothing stopped him to achieve this goal – to become a Filmmaker.

Catherine Kyritsis, Actress (Greece)
Catherine was born in South Africa and has lived all over the world in countries like Greece, Romania, Thailand and England. Her love for films started at a young age of watching American movies. Her dream had always been to be involved with films someway or another. She received her Bachelors in Film Studies at the University of Kent in Canterbury England. Following this she moved to New York and began her Master of the Fine Arts in Acting for film at the New York Film Academy. Her final year was completed in Los Angeles and she graduated in June 2011. She is currently trying to work as much as she can in production work and as an actress but continuing her learning process as an actress by taking Improvisation classes at The Groundlings school.
